Stallman

As a factual matter, they CAN coexist (at the moment, they do
coexist), but as an ethical matter they SHOULD NOT coexist.  Published
software should be free; proprietary software is antisocial and should
disappear.

To offer people a choice between being dominated and being free
is not a good thing.
