Essa descrição não parece do 'double-click', e sim do recurso disponível no Mac
OS X que abre o menu de opções (normalmente chamado pelo botão direito de um
mouse com 2 botões) quando você segura o botão do mouse pressionado por um
determinado tempo (1 seg, por exemplo).

Entendo que 'double-click' seria 'number of times an application button is
pressed in a short period of time' e não 'length of time an application button
is pressed'.

Bem, é isso.
