[GUFSC] Problemas ao instalar o Gimp

Possivelmente está faltando o pacote de desenvolvimento do GTK+
(gtk+2-devel ou algo parecido - não sei qual é no Mandrake). Tente
instalá-lo ou instalar apenas os headers do source do GTK+2.2 (make
install-headers, install-source ou algo parecido).

> Não entendi o que fazer para corrigir o erro. Como saber se meu sistema usa ELF libraries? EU vi que tenho o arquivo ld.so.conf. Tb estou baixando o pkgconfig pra ver se o problema é ele. Gostaria de pedir esclarecimentos sobre o que fazer pra ter esse bendito gimp rodando.
