Podemos assim
esperar vers=F5es cada vez melhores no futuro. Al=E9m disso, muitas
contribui=E7=F5es estar=E3o dispon=EDveis. Recentemente li que algu=E9m est=

desenvolvendo um pacote para =E1lgebra de Lie, para o Maxima (=FAtil para
quem trabalha com controle n=E3o-linear).

Dear Professor Silveira e Silva, =

I recently spoke to a faculty member at Universidad Federal de
Santa Catarina who expressed interest in having Mathematica
available on campus, and I was curious as to whether or not a
Mathematica site license had ever been considered. I thought I
would send a short note to key faculty members to provide an
overview of some the enhancements that have recently been added
to Mathematica licensing programs.

One new feature of our licensing options is the addition of
Network Mathematica. This lets schools license Mathematica
effectively across campus by paying only for a maximum number of
simultaneous users rather than for each individual machine copy.
In this way, a school can install Mathematica on hundreds of
computers across any mix of operating systems while paying for
only a given number of concurrent users.

We have also expanded our site license programs to include
several commonly requested benefits such as free faculty home use
and options for student home use. One of our newest products,
webMathematica, is also a new benefit of the site license. =

webMathematica allows you to add interactive calculations and
visualization to a website quickly and easily. =

In addition, upgrades and technical support continue to be free
for universities with license programs. And for faculty who have
not used Mathematica in the past, we offer training to get you up
to speed quickly so that your time is spent integrating and
utilizing Mathematica, not learning it.

I had just wanted to mention that these new options are available
and to find out if any discussions have taken place in the past
regarding licensing Mathematica on campus. If you have any
questions or comments regarding Mathematica or these new
licensing options, please let me know. I look forward to hearing
from you.

Best regards, =
